Selecting the right candidates for the job in Africa is crucial, as the labor laws tends to favour the employee, making it hard to dismiss people who are not performing.

Therefore having a good understanding of the different ways to assess and test candidates to ensure they are competent to do the job is an essential requirement.

In this Workshop we will cover:
  • Shortlisting candidates
  • Competency based interviews
  • Different types of assessments, including assessment centres
  • Guidance on creating simply but practical assessment tests for specific roles
  • The role of assessment in management recruitment
Learning Outcome:

By the end of this workshop, delegate will be able to design and implement basic work sample tests and be able to use appropriate assessments and tests to select potential new employees.
